Lelouch appears to be alive, especially with the full final scene shown in the full japanese version of the anime where a better shot of the cart drivers face is shown. The code he received for immortality extends from his father, when Lelouch killed his father he received his fathers code. Just watch that episode again it helps connects things. As for another season, it is not going to happen, this show is reminiscent of Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann where the hero steps away from the world they helped save.

Fantastic story! :) The evolution of persons personality. This manga truly makes you think about it's story line, use your brains. What would be if it would had been done one thing and not another...I WISH WHERE WOULD BE R3 WITH ALIVE LELOUCH. THE NANNY COULD HAVE TAKEN HIS PLACE IN THE LAST EP END LIKE SHE DID AT SCHOOL. :D The end a little bit don't make a sense. He was a deamon who cared for his and his sister's well being, killed his parents and in the end sacrificed himself..

Rest in Peace, Lelouch vi Britannia. You destroyed and created a new. Like you wished and realized all your sins. Few saw your true wish, and in the end, the most important person did, too. And she truly loved you. You sacrificed everything, including your life, to save Japan and create a brighter future for your sister. Everything is better now.

All hail Nunnally vi Britannia!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Forever Geass, the wish power. Forever Lelouch.

It is uncertain whether or not Lelouch is still alive or not. When he killed his father, Charles, he "sent" him to his death. In one scenario, it is possible that Lelouch stole Charles' code (which is what gives immortality). Having two geass symbols doesn't mean he achieves immortality, but that he has reached a critical stage where his geass has reached it's maximum potential (meaning he is able to take a code, and give up geass). The geass Suzaku accepts is the command for living, the "punishment." All geass died, and Suzaku would be the last to use it as a weapon. He utilized his "curse" to outmaneuver his opponents (the only way he beat Kallen).

So, it is possible Lelouch is the driver, because his face is purposely cut out of the scene. As well, CC never talks to anyone unless present (or in C's world). CC has a connection with people with Geass, that's how she was able to talk to Marion from half way across the world (Marion being hidden in Anya). She also talked to Charles at one point in time via this connection. So, Lelouch COULD be alive due to CC's character (it's out of character to talk to someone who is actually dead). If you noticed, CC never talked to Marion after she died. I'm not saying this or that, merely giving theoretical discussion to you all. My own thoughts on this subject. I am indifferent about Lelouch being alive, however.

Lelouch is dead because the guy who could read minds had two eyes of geass so that makes no difference that lelouch had two. And its correct about c2 talking to lelouch through talking to god.
