Rolo dident understand because hes a killing machine, noone ever told him it was wrong so he just kills, he thought Shirley had to be killed because she found out about Lelouch.
But…So sad

im not sure if lelouch can use his geass again on a person if it gets erased by jerimiah. but i have a feeling that it did work.
when a person is afflicted with lelouches geass, as long as the condition of that geass is fullfilled the geass woulnt trigger. when the condition of the geass is threatened it triggers(such as each time suzaku is near death)

shirley fullfilled lelouches geass to live in her own way, by believing in rebirth.. so if geass is truely a mental affliction, its conditions would probably also be effected by the afflicteds own mind. then this would count as fullfilling it, since she believes in reincarnation

Rolo just did what he was made to do, to kill but anyway he shouldve gotten a gun and shoot himself.

The killing of that mental crackup was pure fan service! We don’t need an Orihime (though Shirley’s even more useless) in every anime now do we. Also, in the beginning of the episode she wants to betray Lelouch, the kid just keeps changing her mind. She’s also freaking retarded, running from Suzaku because he’s wearing see-through (!) sunglasses while she’s arranged to meet with him. She didn’t even apologise after almost getting the three of them killed, and her ending speech was just… terrible. All the while she just wanted to get attention and for everyone to pity her while there were constantly things of far greater importance at stake and no one could be bothered to care about her petty problems. She still had a good life so. Though a completely retarded character I still applaud the writers for creating her though, because her behaviour did make sense somehow when you put her personality and the situation together and was pretty well thought out. Even though I also wanted that racist pig Nina to die I love the series.

Rolo killed shirley when he mentioned nunnaly cuz he saw nunnaly as a threat between lelouch and his fake brotherhood

Well, i did cry during this episode, but maybe shirley dying was for the best. I would not want to live knowing all those things. Plus, she would do something strange because of all the weirdness, espically about nunally.

I agree with Rolo. Although Shirley was some Mary-Sure plot twist, she had no other reason that to be a shipping member and the ‘light side’. WHo the fuck cares? She died, boo hoo, why didn’t Nina die? Because she had a purpose. Why didn’t Cornelia die? She served a purpose. Of course, Shirley fans will she was Lelouch’s purpose, and that at the end of the series in his flashbacks she was the first thing that popped into his mind; so he somewhat had feelings for her? When we die, we see our lives flash before our lives, and the people we miss. Notice that CC and Kallen with Rolo finished near the end with Euphie and Suzaku, the people in his life that stood by him to the very end. With your last dying moments you should remember those worth the most. Now since his body was incerated on Damocles, he can go Shirley and Euphy and wait for Nunally, Kallen, Suzaku, and possibly CC so they’ll all be together again. Lelouch and Shirley were declared a item but Lelouch and Kallen wasn’t. Somewhere in the middle was Lelouch and CC. I’m getting off topic but for her death she had the last ten minutes, be fucking grateful for that XD. I wasn’t upset when she died, I was upset that Rolo didn’t have a little tweet of mental pass we could hear. You say he’s a bastard, so, if you in a group where you were raised by chains and shackles on how to kill, and your mission, you would kill everyone that stood in your way right? I know I would. So technically, not to be rude but all of you who say he is a killing bastard, you are the hypocrite, therefore you are the bastard.

It was clear that Rolo hated Shirley. He didnt kill her for the sake of the mission. For she was willing to work w/ Rolo on Lelouch’s behalf. Rolo just never liked how close Shirley was to Lulu. And he saw this as a perfect time to take her out.

Not only was Shirley trying to bring Lelouch and his real little sister back together, but look at his face when She tells Rolo, that she wants to help Rolo protect Lelouch! Rolo never wanted Shirley near Lelouch. Even in the previous episode when Shirley and Lelouch are standing next to eachother. Rolo has a sad face on, when they show him. Rolo is very selfish and jealous.

Of course he always hated her, everyone in their right mind always hated stupid dumb redheads bumping protagonists! : D

Well took me a while to understandnhow he could use his geass on Shirley again, but i guess Jerimiah used his canceler and like reset lelouch’s last geass on shirley. But its kinda karma since lelouch killed Euphy, but rolo is a little bitch still. He wouldnt be anything without that geass.

If Shirley simply hadn’t mentioned Nunnally, that’s what got Rolo vexed, not the fact that she had found out but because she remembered Nunnally. And by saying she wants Lelouch to be together again with Nunnally, well that just did it didn’t it? Stupid jealous Rolo grrr!

there is ONE and ONLY ONE reason that Rolo killed Shirley. Rolo has had no other family, no other love except for lelouch. he doesnt want to lose his relationship with lelouch, and he knows that will happen if Nunnally comes back into his life, because she is a real sibling, and he is fake. its highlander. there can only be one. and he knows lelouch would choose her over him.
