C.C did warn him and Lelouch said that he wouldn’t let the power of Geass overcome him. Guess he overestimated himself. This was so sad though, and especially at the end when he says ‘Find her and KILL HER’ with a tear coming down. He really did love Euphie like he loves Nunnally

Im not a fan of suzaku, but god damn i feel sorry for the bastard. Confess their feeling, fall in love, he becomes her kinight again, and then BANG shes gone. Because his best friend killed her. Suzaku’s hatred couldnt be worse even if lelouch slept with euphie, and shes his sister!
